Already have a car shipping quote? Text it to me.

Send a screenshot of the quote with your pickup and delivery ZIP codes. I will tell you if the price is in line for your route, and what to ask before you pay anything.

What I check on your quote

Is the price in line with your route?

I compare it with what carriers take on the same corridor. A quote far below that range is the most common trap: it gets posted, no driver accepts it, and a week later you get a call asking for more. The current ranges are on the route pages and real prices my customers paid are on recent shipments.

Is it an estimate, or a price a carrier accepted?

Ask the company directly. An estimate can change; a carrier-accepted price comes with a pickup window and the carrier’s name.

When do they want money?

With me nothing is charged when you book. A deposit is taken only after a licensed carrier has accepted your car with a pickup date, and the balance goes to the driver at delivery. If someone wants the full amount up front, ask why.

What is included?

Door to door or terminal, the carrier’s cargo insurance, open or enclosed, and how much you may pack in the car. My quotes include 100–150 lbs of belongings; 250–300 lbs adds $150–$200. Different answers to these change what a price really means.

Does it match your car?

A car that does not run, a lifted truck or a low sports car needs the right equipment. If the quote never asked, the price may move on pickup day.
